Airdentity: Give pressure systems an Identity and Become a Chronicler of the Weather!

Baroly delivers production-ready pressure weather maps directly into your publishing workflow. Every map shows isobars, high- and low-pressure systems, coastlines, and country borders — styled, labeled, and localized for your audience.

Each country has its own RSS feed. The feed URL follows a simple pattern:

The feed is standard RSS 2.0 with the media: namespace (Media RSS). Each <item> represents one forecast date and contains:

All images are delivered as JPEG at 120 DPI — sharp enough for print use and optimized for fast web delivery.

Maps are available for European countries and beyond. Each map is labeled in the country's primary language.

Each update delivers four maps covering the next three days:

• Isobars — Lines of equal pressure at 4 hPa intervals, showing the atmospheric flow pattern
• High-pressure systems (H) — Marked with blue circles and "H" labels. Associated with clear, stable weather
• Low-pressure systems (L) — Marked with red circles and "L" labels. Associated with clouds, rain, and wind
• Color shading — A pressure heatmap from blue (low pressure) through white to red (high pressure)
• Geography — Coastlines and country borders for spatial orientation

Use any RSS-to-post plugin (e.g., WP RSS Aggregator or Jetvents) to automatically publish weather maps as posts or sidebar widgets. The <media:content> elements provide image URLs with dimensions, making automated layout straightforward.

Connect the RSS feed to tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), or Buffer:

1. Set up an RSS trigger — Point it at your country's feed URL
2. Extract the image — Use the <enclosure> URL (16:9) or parse <media:content> for the 9:16 story format
3. Post automatically — Publish to Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn with the forecast title as caption

For broadcast workflows, download the 16:9 images directly via their URL and overlay them in your graphics system. The images have a transparent-friendly design that works well as lower-third overlays or full-screen weather segments.

Beyond the rendered maps, Baroly provides machine-readable data for custom visualizations and data journalism.
